Welcome to Inna’s Creations!
Hello, my name is Inna Muradyan, and I'm a self-taught jewelry artist. I embarked on this creative journey in 2015 when I discovered the fascinating world of jewelry making. It was Kumihimo braiding techniques that really captured my heart, and since then, I have dedicated myself to mastering this craft.
I love experimenting with different beaded designs, and my collection is constantly expanding. I'm passionate about creating beautiful pieces that bring joy to people. With the love and support of my wonderful friends, family, and coworkers, I have decided to share my creations with the world.
Each piece I make is handmade with care, making it completely unique. When you purchase one of my items, you can be sure that you won't find anything else like it. Thank you for taking the time to check out my work. Your support means everything to me as I continue this creative journey!
History of Kumihimo braiding
Kumihimo is traditional Japanese braiding. Kumihimo, meaning "braiding" in Japanese, has a long and rich history in Japan. During the Middle Ages Samurai Warriors would braid 800-1000 ft. of cord to be used in a suit of armor during battle. In 18th and 19th century, Kumihimo became popular amongst weavers and other textile enthusiast. At first, the process was done entirely by hand without the help of any sort of tool.
While the samurai are long gone, Kumihimo lives on. These days in Japan you will find Kumihimo used for decorative and ceremonial pulls and tassels, embellishments for clothing and jewelry making.
Macramé is back!
Macramé, which at its simplest is the art of creating patterns out of knots, has made a huge emergence into modern home décor, whether that’s through artistic wall hangings, beautiful and practical plant hangers or by being worked into everyday objects, home accents, furniture or jewelry.
I am so passionate about art and craft, I love to work with my hands. I discovered the art of macramé by watching video tutorials and reading books. I am self-taught in macramé.
Macramé offers the opportunity for endless creativity. The combination of knots and patterns allows you to take a piece in so many different directions.
Macramé, like any craft, takes patience and attention to detail. However, it’s relatively easy to pick up, and highly addicting once you understand the basics!
My favorite pieces are micro macramé jewelry and wall hangings designs.
